40 minutes of independent reading - Mrs. Finnerty will conference with students and hold small group reteaching lessons.

Reading Workshop Language
"jot" - means to write down the ideas that come to you while you are reading. Currently we are jotting on sticky notes that we will add to our reading notebook.
"ideas" as we read intensely we will begin to form ideas.
"evidence" this would be the exact text that helped us form our idea. We take our evidence directly from the text.
